Summer Youth Programs

Several art programs run throughout the summer months. Messy Mondays is an arts experience for parents and toddlers. Arty Farty is a custom-made art exploration for kiddos ages 5-8.

Gingerbread House Making in December is a candy-fueled arts extravaganza for the entire family.

Ongoing Classes


There are several ongoing classes for children at the MARC. Though not officially MARC classes, they are taught by talented community members who love to share their interest in martial arts, dance, and more. Check our these descriptions to find something for your child.

Year-long Independent Youth Programming

Though not officially MARC classes, ongoing classes are taught by community members who love to share their interests. Ongoing programs for youth may go on hiatus each summer.

Music Lessons with Sand Sheff

Sand Sheff is offering private lessons for guitar, ukulele and beginning piano. Classes take place downstairs at the MARC.  All ages welcome. Sand leads the local bluegrass band, Quicksand Soup, and was also the music teacher for 3 years at the Moab Charter School. There are a few half-hour private slots still available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:30 to 6, and potential for group guitar classes as well.  Call 435-260-0446 for information

No drop in's for this class. Youth must sign up for a month. Come play with us.
Wednesdays 5 to 6:30 pm during the school year.

Young Life

Young Life is for everyone who wants to get the most out of life. Whether you are in middle school, high school or college; whatever your interests or abilities; no matter who you hang Young Life programout with — Young Life welcomes you. If there is a Young Life club or camp near you, check it out! And if you're a parent, or simply an adult who cares about kids in your community, Young Life welcomes your involvement. There is a variety of ways you can serve and impact the lives of kids in your neighborhood and around the world.
